The state of Florida requires all new drivers take a 4-hour drug and alcohol course.
If you want your Permit License you must take this course. You can sign up

Our 4-hour drug and alcohol Internet course for first time drivers is taken
from any computer and you can work at your own pace. You can register for the
course online or by calling our office. You will read 4 chapters and then take
a final exam. When you complete the final exam your certificate will be
reported electronically to the DMV office.
You do not need any paperwork or certificate. You can go to your local DMV office and they will already know
that you passed the course.

Your certificate will be reported to the DMV office electronically when you
finish the course. You can go to your
local DMV office and just give them your name and they will already know that

You can enter the program as many times as you like. Our Internet program keeps
track of your time and you will always start where you left off, rounded to the
nearest minute, when you last logged off our program.

your course and I have been disqualified from the program, what should I do?
You may have been disqualified for the following reasons:
1. Dial up internet connections can be slow and it may have disconnected you
2. You did not answer the security question in time
3. You walked away from your computer for a few minutes

10. I am taking your course and the timer is not working correctly?
If you are taking our course and having problems with the timer at the top of
the page, please call our office and we will have our technical staff address
the issue. We understand our customers are using different computer programs
and software. Additionally, customers have different Internet connections which
may cause an occasional technical problem. Please be patient, our customer
service representatives will help you with your technical questions.
11. I am signed
up for your course and I cannot log back into the program?
Go to the right hand corner of the website where it says “Already a Member” and
click Login to ADAPT course you can continue your Drug and Alcohol course.
If you have
already passed the Drug and Alcohol course please click Login to DMV Test to
take your Permit Test online. You must
be registered for this Test otherwise you will not be able to log in. If you have not registered for the DMV
Permit test then back and log back into your Drug and Alcohol course and it
will give you a choice to register for the DMV Permit test.
